Diamond Lake is a natural body of water in the southern part of the U.S. state of Oregon. It lies near the junction of Oregon Route 138 and Oregon Route 230 in the Umpqua National Forest in Douglas County .
This lake has a rich history of being a great trout lake. Had a rough few years but is now coming back strong. This lake is surrounded by some of the best scenery that Oregon has to offer. Plan ahead for this trip as it is somewhat remote by todays standard. Definitely worth visiting.
