YSU’s first game at the stadium was on Sept. 4, 1982, against nearby rival Akron, and the Penguins have enjoyed quite the home-field advantage.

About The Stambaugh Stadium Information: The Arnold D. Stambaugh Sports Complex brings Penguin football and soccer on the YSU campus to a higher level with a 21,630-seat stadium that overlooks the multi-purpose Sprinturf playing field. It houses the Office of Intramural and Club Sport programs.

The shuttle will depart every 15 minutes from the M-1 Parking Deck and M-26 tailgate lot and take fans to Gate C of Stambaugh Stadium. Return service will begin half-way through the fourth quarter and run up to one hour after the conclusion of the game. Game day parking is $5 per vehicle.
