•January 14 - Nightmare Alley: Vision in Darkness and Light (Searchlight Pictures) was released in selected theaters in Los Angeles, and it soon expanded to selected theaters across the United States on January 21.
•January 30 - The Beatles: Get Back - The Rooftop Concert (Walt Disney Pictures) was released exclusively in IMAX theaters for one day, and it was released globally from February 11 to 13th.
•February 11 - Death on the Nile (20th Century Studios) was released to mixed reviews.
•February 18 - Encanto (Walt Disney Animation Studios) was re-released after its success on Disney+ and the Academy Awards nominations.
•February 25 - Official Competition (Spanish: Competencia oficial) (Buena Vista International) was released in Spain and received positive reviews.

•January 1 - The Disney's Magical Express service ceased operations. However, it was replaced with a new Disney branded airport shuttle bus service to and from the resort later in the year called "The Sunshine Flyer". The new service is centered around 1920s-era steam locomotives honoring Walt Disney's love of trains, and opened as part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary celebration.
•January 2 - Disney's Typhoon Lagoon reopened at Walt Disney World Resort, after being temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 outbreak's impact on Florida, as part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary celebration.
•January 4 - Expedition Everest was temporarily closed for its refurbishment in Asia at Disney's Animal Kingdom, as part of Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary celebration.

•Hong Kong Disneyland was temporarily closed for the fourth time until April 21, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, including some caused by the Omicron variant. The resort's hotels remained open with adjusted levels of services. Services at restaurants and recreational facilities at the resort's hotels were adjusted according to local regulations.
•We Love Mickey! has its final performance at Hong Kong Disneyland, as part of its 15th Anniversary celebration.
