I would add that if you're a beginner buying your first kit there's a good chance you're going to be trying to sell that kit soon after. A lot of people start, but give up. If you spend $2500 on a new kit, you're very unlikely to sell it for $2500. Buy a used kit good quality kit.

Like 30 gigs of hip hop and trap one shots. Pretty much every single drum sample known to man. It’s around the net if you google it. Software wise, fabfiter pro q3, pro c2 and pro L2 are by far the best bread and butter fx. Valhalla Ubermod, shimmer, vintage verb, hall and chamber reverbs are amazing for space and vibe.
