Great movie. Just know its nothing like the Shining. They are two completely different movies in two different genres with some overlap. Doctor Sleep could pretty much be a superhero origin story if they wanted to continue the story down the line. Edit: I saw the Shining for the first time earlier this year and was unfamiliar with Doctor Sleep.
