     There is no javax.media.* jar file specifically. That package is in the jmf.jar file. You will need to either run the installer and take out the jar, or the cross platform install is just a zip file (this jar doesn't use any native libraries, so it doesn't need to be installed) that has the jar in it.

     I wrote a blog article about reading parquet files (http://www.jofre.de/?p=1459) and came up with the following solution that even is capable of reading INT96 fields.

     You need the following maven dependencies:

     In context of HttpServletResponse response you can do this like this

     response.setContentType("application/csv");response.setHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment; filename=" + csvName);-

     and for ResponseEntity i assume you can use something like this:

     ResponseEntity.ok().header("Content-Disposition","attachment; filename=" + csvName );

     There is currently no separate documentation for the Java API (other than the comments in the API itself). Large parts of this API where however automatically translated from the .NET API, so it is virtually the same as that one, as bovoi said. The .NET API is in turn based upon the Python API, so all the class and function names are (almost) the same; in Python there is a default Context object, so in many cases this does not need to be passed as an argument, where in .NET and Java it is an argument. So, apart from the source code of the API and the example program, I would point to the Z3 Python Tutorial; all the concepts explained therein translate to Java and .NET in a straightforward way.
