No not at all. Sure it gets "warm" some times while using FaceTime and Threema Video-Calls, but that's just normal because it is a heavy CPU task. Some times CPU's can get hot if they have to do a lot. Dont expect an iPhone always be cool like a block of ice. High processor tasks generated heat which is normal.
