IRP is a one-cab card registration system for interstate motor carriers. Commercial motor carriers register vehicles for other states through their base state. For more information regarding IRP, call the NDDOT, 701-328-1287. Motor carriers who do not travel out of state must obtain commercial vehicle registration.

Mar 30, 2020 · COVID-19. The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is now scheduling appointments for commercial driver license (CDL) knowledge and road tests, as well as adding endorsements. CDL services are available by appointment only and walk-ins will not be accepted at this time.
CES first opened in Dickinson, ND in 2015 in response to the rising demand for truck drivers. It started operation in West Fargo, ND, in 2016 and extended to Willmar, Minnesota, in 2019.
