Yale has a lot of parties, but many of them are specialized. My experience was about once a month I would have a stumble-back-to-my-room night of heavy drinking and fun party talk. I wasn't a grinding/dance partier.

Honestly for freshman there’s a pretty big party scene I’d say. Besides toads ofc there’s also the frats which aren’t too hard to get into. Main ones for freshman are LEO, AEPi, SigChi, SigNu, and Zeta + sports houses.
