  2. Dosewallips State Park. 306996 Highway 101, Brinnon, WA 98320. Visit the mountains or beach at Dosewallips State Park. Dig for clams or watch a herd of elk wander through camp. This diverse and dynamic park is perfect for a day trip or overnight stay.

  6. But the upper Dosewallips Road has been closed to vehicles since 2002 after winter storms created a huge washout that has yet to be repaired. Now to reach this waterfall you must hike or mountain bike the closed road. Walk past the road barrier and immediately come to the washout and a bypass trail. Steeply climb on the riverbank above the slide.

  7. Maple Valley Loop. Enjoy this 2.0-mile loop trail near Brinnon, Washington. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 48 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, camping, and fishing, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.
