The property was renamed "Douglas Family Preserve" after actor Michael Douglas made a $600,000 contribution towards its acquisition. Today, it's a natural city park.

Jul 2020. We found this family preserve through the website "Bring Fido". This was one of favorite places for our dog. The preserve has 70 acres, trails, and a stunning coastal cliff view. The beach below (you probably need to drive to the parking lot) is an outstanding beach for unleashed dogs too.
