Mr. Spencer served on the EAMC Board of Directors from 1982 – 2008, including as board chair from 1990 – 2008.

He graduated from Alabama Polytechnic Institute (Auburn University) with a B.S. degree In 1952 and earned a regular commission in the U.S. Air Force.
