Eden Lake is a very well-made movie that did exactly what it was trying to do. I appreciate it for that. But I was just in a bad mood for a couple days after watching, so I can't really say I enjoyed it.

Aug 02, 2020 · Really intense scene, shook me when I watched it in the theater. Really loved the movie though, having such a disturbing scene that felt real like that really made the whole movie feel more consequential.
Leofwine_draca 19 June 2016 EDEN LODGE is one of those low budget British horror films where nothing really happens apart from a halfway-decent sense of mood and place. It reminded me a lot of the film shown the previous night on the Horror Channel, SIREN, which had more exotic locales but was similarly light on plot and incident.
Jul 21, 2020 · Good choice. I rented this movie (along with FF Mystic Quest) when I was 8 and found the whole thing entirely disturbing and depressing. What a gut punch that movie is. The ending is like fuck you. Hasn't stopped me from loving it ever since though!
