Two or more rates (e.g. Economy 7, Eco2020) How do I read an electronic electricity meter (one rate; not smart)? Your electronic meter might scroll through its various screens automatically. Or you might have to press a button to get you to the meter reading screen. When you see a row of numbers: Write them down from left to right.
It is best to only send a meter reading when we ask for one or if your prices are changing. You also don't need to if you have a smart meter that sends readings for you. Find out if your smart meter is sending us readings.
