    Actress. 16 April 1925 to 14 October 2008. A vivacious performer on stage and screen, Adams was resident vocalist on The Ernie Kovacs Show (1952) and later married its star. She made her film debut as Fred MacMurray’s secretary in The Apartment (1960), with other film roles coming in Lover Come Back (1961) and The Best Man (1964).
