     d={ 'key1': [10, 100.1, 0.98, 1.2], 'key2': [72.5], 'key3': [1, 5.2, 71.2, 9, 10.11, 12.21, 65, 7]}-df=pd.DataFrame.from_dict(d,orient='index').transpose()

     Then df is

     key3 key2 key10 1.00 72.5 10.001 5.20 NaN 100.102 71.20 NaN 0.983 9.00 NaN 1.204 10.11 NaN NaN

     Note that numpy has some built in functions that can do calculations ignoring NaN values, which may be relevant here. For example, if you want to find the mean of 'key1' column, you can do it as follows:

     import numpy as npnp.nanmean(df[['key1']])28.07-

     Other useful functions include numpy.nanstd, numpy.nanvar, numpy.nanmedian, numpy.nansum.

     EDIT: Note that the functions from your basic functions link can also handle nan values. However, their estimators may be different from those of numpy. For example, they calculate the unbiased estimator of sample variance, while the numpy version calculates the "usual" estimator of sample variance.

     You could use the following static class

     public static class GenericLists{ private static Dictionary<Type, object> MyDict = new Dictionary<Type, object>(); public static void NewEntry<T>() { MyDict.Add(typeof(T), new List<T>()); } public static List<T> GetEntry<T>() { return (List<T>)MyDict[typeof(T)]; } public static void RemoveEntry<T>() { MyDict.Remove(typeof(T)); }}

     Or you could use

     public class GenericLists<T>{ private Dictionary<Type, List<T>> MyDict = new Dictionary<Type, List<T>>();- public void NewEntry() { MyDict.Add(typeof(T), new List<T>()); } public List<T> GetEntry() { return MyDict[typeof(T)]; } public void RemoveEntry() { MyDict.Remove(typeof(T)); }}

     if you really want to initialize it, but I think the static will work better.

     If it is only to add a new tuple and you are sure that there are no collisions in the inner dictionary, you can do this:

     def addNameToDictionary(d, tup): if tup[0] not in d: d[tup[0]] = {} d[tup[0]][tup[1]] = [tup[2]]

     There is no way to implement it. You could work with a ViewModel and bind a List<T> of this viewmodel, for sample:

     Create the ViewModel

     public class DataViewModel{ public int Key { get; set; } public int ValueKey { get; set; } public string Value { get; set; } }

     Create a method to convert the Dictionary<int,KeyValuePair<int,string>> to the List<DataViewModel>:

     public static List<DataViewModel> Convert(Dictionary<int,KeyValuePair<int,string>> dic){ return dic.Select(item => new DataViewModel() { Key = item.Key, ValueKey = item.Value.Key, Value = item.Value.Value }).ToList();}

     and apply this list in the DataSource property:

     grid.DataSource = Convert(myData);-

     On the DataPropertyName apply a property from the List type.

     grid.DataPropertyName = "Value"; -
