Mar 30, 2015 · Review: Electric Slide. Like the characters, the Tristan Patterson film’s exterior flash can’t conceal a glaring emptiness. To the materialistic citizens of 1980s Los Angeles depicted in Tristan Patterson’s Electric Slide, appearances are everything—especially to lowlife furniture salesman Eddie Dodson (Jim Sturgess).
Rotten Tomatoes, a review aggregator, reports that 14% of seven surveyed critics gave the film a positive review; the average rating is 3 out of 10. Metacritic rated it 37 out of 100 based on six reviews.
