Plot. The story follows Echo ( Eliza Dushku ), a "doll" or "Active" for the Los Angeles "Dollhouse", one of several facilities, called "Houses", run by a company which hires out human beings to wealthy clients. These "engagements" range from romantic interludes to high-risk criminal enterprises.

Dollhouse is a series created by Joss Whedon and starring Eliza Dushku, centering around a secret organization that controls "dolls" or " Actives " and programs them to do any kind of required work, after which they get their memories erased and revert to a childlike state waiting for the next engagement.
Eliza Patricia Dushku portrays the lead role of Echo on Dollhouse. Additionally, Dushku served as one of the producers for the series, and her production company Boston Diva Productions produced Dollhouse alongside 20th Century Fox Television and Joss Whedon's Mutant Enemy Productions.
