Elizabeth Victoria Montgomery (April 15, 1933 – May 18, 1995) was an American actress whose career spanned five decades in film, stage, and television. She portrayed the good witch Samantha Stephens on the popular television series Bewitched , which earned her five Primetime Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations.

Her remains were cremated and inurned at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery. Elizabeth Montgomery had a summer home in Patterson, New York, in Putnam County. Following her death, the 800-acre (320 ha) estate was sold to New York State and became Wonder Lake State Park.

Also cremated by Pierce Bros. was Elizabeth Montgomery (1933-1995), who played the nose-twitching witch, Samantha Stevens, on the popular TV sitcom "Bewitched" from 1964 to 1972. So was rocker Janis Joplin (1943-1970), who gave us such hits as "Me & Bobby McGee," and "Piece of My Heart." Her funeral service was also held here.
