Ellie Cornell is an American actress and film producer. In the Halloween series, she is known for her role as Rachel Carruthers.
During production of Halloween 4's rooftop chase, Ellie Cornell was injured by a protruding nail which cut her stomach open as she slid down the roof. After a quick trip to the local hospital and some stitches, she finished the scene with her bandages in place. According to Danielle Harris, "It didn't even faze her."
The film shoot lasted about 41 days and Cornell and Harris were required to be on set for 36 of those.

Ellie Cornell and Danielle Harris did all of their own stunt work during the rooftop scene of Halloween 4. Cornell said that "it was really fun" and it took place on her last day of shooting. Along with Laurie Strode and Frank Hawkins, Rachel is one of three characters to run over Michael.
