This is a documentary about a place called Ghana and Emmanuel, a disabled boy. He is brought up in poverty and loses both of his parents at a young age. He decides he is not going to beg for a living as most of the other disabled people in his country do. He decides to apply for a grant from a group called ” Challenged Athletes Foundation”.
Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, the film chronicles the life of Emmanuel Ofosu Yeboah, a young Ghanaian man born with a severely deformed right leg, who today, against incalculable odds, is opening minds, hearts and doors-and effecting social and political change throughout his country.
