Premise
Nurse Mildred Ratched originated as a character in Ken Kesey's 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and the subsequent 1975 movie adaptation of the same name by Miloš Forman, where she was portrayed by Louise Fletcher, for which she won the 1975 Academy Award for Best Actress.
