In 2018, Greene received a Percent for Art Commission to create an interactive mural at the Philadelphia City Archives. In 2021, Greene was an artist in residence at the bio tech company Integral Molecular, in partnership with the Esther Klein Gallery and Science Center in Philadelphia.

Apr 15, 2015 · The paintings — selected by Adventist artist Lars Justinen and Tanya Holland, design manager at the Adventist world church’s communication department — bring together beloved classics by artists such as Harry Anderson and contemporary works by Nathan Greene, Steve Creitz, and Justinen himself.
In this work, the artist oscillates through time, visually and sonically cueing the memory of a river as a site for contemplation and a relic of consumption. The materials are both visceral and imaginative, painting a mental picture of post-apocalyptic zen gardens, bleeding arteries and destroyed civil infrastructures.
He has been enamored with everything from the striking patterns of carnival games (Green Checkerboard With Balloons and Darts, above) to the high drama of fine art auctions. But his series inspired by New York City’s subway stations has been his most prolific; to date, it includes 117 paintings.
