Apr 28, 2016 · Evergreen is a double bonus because it includes the Jennie Wade grave with a fitting monument - and it is next to the Gettysburg National Cemetery with it's own awesomeness. The entrance to Evergreen is a beautiful arch that was present during the Battle in 1863. It is peaceful and calming.

Aug 29, 2021 · We enjoy visiting cemeteries, as you can learn so much from older headstones. Evergreen Cemetery did not disappoint. Got a map that was hanging on the door of the business office. We spent a lot of time wandering and reading. A guide pointed out the approximate place they believe Abraham Lincoln gave the Gettysburg Address. So historical!
