What's a movie you went in expecting to be the worst thing on earth based on what people said and you left the theatre agreeing? Sets low expectations so if it's shit it's okay, if it's okay it's good, if it's good it's great, and if great, then it's fantastic. Expect the worst but have the hope in your heart for a good movie.
