Faith Seminary traces its genesis to Princeton Theological Seminary when, in 1929, a handful of conservative theologians under the visionary leadership of John Gresham Machen, faculty, graduates, and students formed Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA.
Lynnewood Hall in January 2013. The grounds were used for training military dogs during World War II, and parcels of the land outside the property fence (see below) were sold to others after 1943. Lynnewood Hall was purchased in 1952 by Faith Theological Seminary a Christian school of higher education headed by Carl McIntire.

Our History: Eastern was founded in 1925 as Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. The collegiate division began in 1932 and was chartered as a 4-year college in 1952. The college became Eastern College in 1972 and Eastern University in 2001. The Seminary was renamed Palmer Theological Seminary in 2005. Learn more.
