    Film Permits: 1 Appears in:Pulp Fiction A junkyard might seem worlds apart from the glamour of Hollywood, it became the backdrop for an important scene in Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. In this scene, the two main characters played by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta attempt to dispose of a body and car. While known as Monster Joe’s in the film, the real junkyard is called A & R Auto Dismantlers in Sun Valley, California.

The property feels at home in the landscape as the large windows almost give an illusion of being outside among the oak trees which the house was built around. The residence was also used in the Tom Ford film, A Single Manwhere Colin Firth’s character lived.
