Gary Goodspeed is the son of John Goodspeed, an Infinity Guard captain who died on a mission to close a breach to Final Space when Gary was a child. Shortly after the death of his father, Gary was abandoned by his mother, Sheryl Goodspeed, and forced into a life of crime.
Final Space is a serialized intergalactic space saga about an astronaut named Gary and his adorable, planet-destroying friend, Mooncake. The series follows their adventures as they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of "Final Space," the place where the entire universe ends.
The Zombie Garys are a legion of deceased counterparts of Gary Goodspeed from alternative dimensions who were possessed by Invictus in an attempt to kill the Team Squad and are major antagonists in Season 3 . They are voiced by Vanessa Marshall.

Gary Goodspeed is the main protagonist of the sci-fi animated series Final Space. He is a prisoner on a ship called the Galaxy One, and has a sidekick whom he names Mooncake (otherwise referred to as Specimen E-351) and tries to protect him from the Lord Commander, a sadistic, power-hungry alien warlord with telekinetic powers.
Garold ‘’Gary’’ Goodspeed is the overall main protagonist of the Sci-Fi animated TV series Final Space. He is a prisoner of a prison ship named the Galaxy One, and he has a sidekick named Mooncake (also known as Specimen E-351) and tries to protect him from Lord Commander. What Gary does not realize that Mooncake is used as a planet killing weapon.
