Sep 23, 2022 · Ford has started construction of BlueOval City, a $5.6 billion investment in West Tennessee that will produce an all-new electric truck and advanced batteries for future Ford and Lincoln vehicles. The facility will create about 6,000 jobs and is on track to open in 2025, as part of Ford's plan to reach a 2 million EV production run rate by late 2026.
