Driving along the ocean, I came to Fortunes Rocks Beach. At the parking area, there were signs stating that only permit parking was allowed May 1 – September 15 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. So, it was a limited access beach for non-residents. It wasn’t crowded when I got there about 5:00 PM. I walked a bit to get a good look at it.

There are actually 3 access areas to get to the beach. The shore side parking near the big rocks, and then a small area for about 15 cars about a mile down, and then a large area about another mile down the road that holds 50-70 cars. Low tide leaves a huge beach, and the beach is never crowed like tourist areas in southern Maine.
