Fox 2000 Pictures was an American production company owned by Walt Disney Studios. It is a sister studio of the larger 20th Century Studios, specializing in producing independent films in mid-range releases that largely targeted underserved groups.
Prior to 1996, Fox 2000 Pictures does not start using one logo at this point. Just 2 years later, this logo had come into use as a print logo but this does not appear as an on-screen logo, instead using the 20th Century Fox logo on films, and the 20th Century Fox print logo on the film and crew members credits on the back of DVDs and the end of previews.
Following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, it was originally going to shut down on October 4, 2019, but it was postponed to 2021 due the delay of The Woman in the Window release as the final film with this brand.
