Located in the heart of Amberley Village, French Park is the former 275-acre estate of Herbert Greer French who donated the property to Cincinnati in 1943 along with his house. It is the second-largest Cincinnati Park Board property after Mt. Airy Forest.

The French House is a two story brick house located in the center of the park. French Park is a public park located in Amberley Village, Ohio, United States, but owned by the City of Cincinnati. The park occupies the former estate of Herbert Greer French, who bequeathed the land with red brick manor to the Cincinnati Park Board following his death in 1942.

French Park is off of Section Road, right near Ridge Road, and it has lots of historical significance according to the webpage on the City of Cincinnati's website. The 275-plus acre park was given to the city in 1943 by Herbert Greer French, although it was originally purchased from Congress by James Cleves Symmes about 200 years ago.

Jul 29, 2010 · This is a rather small park in comparison to some of the other Cincinnati Parks parks. French Park covers 275 acres. It’s a very quiet and peaceful park. The park has miles of trails, creeks, and is a great place to hunt for fossils.
