Lucky for me, it was the 1st scenario. My Fulmer helmet took a wicked hit and even left a nice mark on the rock that I hit. I didn't even have a headache or any pain in the ole noggin. The Thor chest protector did a nice 30 foot slide (on the backside) and did well too. Great Helmet!!!
