"Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda", later simply "Andromeda", is a science fiction television series that aired from 2 October 2000 - 13 May 2005. The series combines elements of hard science fiction and drama, while dealing with social and political issues such as drug abuse, death, bribery, and intergalactic politics.
To Loose the Fateful Lightning. Dylan is manipulated into unlocking powerful weapons stores when the Andromeda discovers a Commonwealth space station populated by children who believe that he is the legendary' High Guard' who has come to bring peace by destroying their enemies. Episode 1-4.

It starred Kevin Sorbo as High Guard Captain Dylan Hunt. The series premiered on October 2, 2000, and ended on May 13, 2005.
