You could start as far back as the beginning of Geoff Johns run if you want. Make sure you read "Blackest Night" AND "Green Lantern: Blackest Night" (the corresponding issues of Green Lantern, Blackest Night was its own series). There is a Corps book as well but I got by just by reading those.
