Dec 4, 2019 · For this list, we look at a few TV shows and movies set in the Georgian era, from 1770 onward (since Austen was born in 1775) and primarily set in England. ‘The Duchess’ (1770s) Released in 2009, this biopic stars Keira Knightley as the titular Duchess of Devonshire and follows her rocky marriage to her husband, played by Ralph Fiennes.
Austen met Cassandra Leigh while he was a student at Oxford. They married on 26 April 1764 and began their married life living in the rectory at Deane; in 1771 they moved to Steventon Parsonage, the birthplace of their daughter Jane. They had eight children: James Austen (1765–1819) George Austen (1766–1838) Edward Austen Knight (1767–1852)

So, this is a short article and a tribute to George Austen. George Austen (1766 – 17 January 1838) was actually the second son of Revd. George Austen and Cassandra Leigh.
