Gerard Arthur Way (born April 9, 1977) is an American singer, songwriter, and comic book writer. He [a] is best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the rock band My Chemical Romance . He released his debut solo album, Hesitant Alien , in 2014.

And I've looked into different genres of art and it looks like he takes the most ideas from a gothic art style (colour, symbolism, etc). Furthermore, focusing on a very limited and high-chroma colour palette (black/white/red, or black/grey, or red/blue) seems to give it that distinct 'punch'. Geesus 😍.
