Gian-Carlo Coppola (September 17, 1963 – May 26, 1986) was an American film producer and actor. He was the oldest child of set decorator/artist Eleanor Coppola (née Neil) and film director Francis Ford Coppola, and brother to screenwriter/producer Roman Coppola and director Sofia Coppola.

Gian-Carla Coppola (born January 1, 1987) is an American film director and screenwriter. She made her directorial feature film debut with Palo Alto in 2013. She is a member of the Coppola family.
Together they had three children, Gian-Carlo Coppola, Roman Coppola, and Sofia Coppola, all of whom became filmmakers. Gian-Carlo died at the age of 22 due to a speedboating accident in 1986. He had one child, Gia Coppola, also a filmmaker. Nicolas Cage and Jason Schwartzman are Coppola's nephews.
