To get to Goleta Beach County Park, visitors should get on Highway 217 then take the exit to Sandspit Road. There are also bike paths that lead from downtown to the park, and a city bus stops at the park, too.
Goleta Beach Park includes nearly 30 acres of paved biking trails, as well as a fishing pier, playgrounds and beaches. El Capitan State Beach, meanwhile, serves as a prime location for camping, as well as fishing, swimming and surfing.
