    To get to Goleta Beach County Park, visitors should get on Highway 217 then take the exit to Sandspit Road. There are also bike paths that lead from downtown to the park, and a city bus stops at the park, too.

  5. Goleta Beach has seen better days. The tides have been hard on the beach as it's very rocky now. The seaside features tables and restrooms. There used to be a restaurant but it closed recently. It will probably reopen. The bottom line is that it is not a real pretty beach. There is a fair amount of parking.

  6. There are horseshoe pits, picnic tables, barbecues, volleyball courts and kayak rentals. There is also a playground and a pier that allows fishing. You can easily stroll along the beach path up to the UCSB campus from here. Goleta beach is just a few minutes from the Santa Barbara airport, making it a great pit stop before or after a flight.
