Oct 3, 2021 · Whether you're planning a day out on the town, or want to orchestrate the perfect road trip across the country, Google Maps allows you to add up to nine stops, excluding your starting point, when you make directions from both the website and the Maps app. Here's how you do it.

Jul 3, 2023 · 1. Open Google Maps on your iPhone or Android phone and then tap on the Direction icon (right arrow inside the box) in the bottom right corner. 2. From there choose your starting location and destination location. Note: Google will pick your current location as your Start Location.
- Using Mobile App: Tap the blue Directions button in the lower-right corner. This will start Directions mode, and will prompt you for a starting location and destination.
- Using Google Maps Website: Open the Google Maps website on your computer. The Google Maps site allows you to create maps with up to nine additional destinations.
#2: Press “directions” Once you've added all your stops, tap the "Directions" button to find your optimized route. You can also tap on each stop for more details, such as the estimated time of arrival and any traffic delays. #4: Get your route. Press “Done” and then “Start” to get directions for your trip. And that's it!

Jul 16, 2021 · To begin building your route, tap the three dots at the upper right to open the menu. Select Add stop from the menu. This will open the route editing window with multiple fields outlining your current route from start to finish. You’ll see your location as the starting point, and the destination as the second point (the current ending point).
