Grant Morrisons run on X-Men was my first introduction to comics as a kid, and it blew my socks off. I've re-read it again recently, and personally I think the story holds up quite well, and I love Whedons sequel run (despite some weird retcons). Definitely two of my favourite X-Men runs on the board.
