The 8,000 acre Refuge, located in Morris County, New Jersey, provides excellent recreational opportunities for visitors as well as protecting valuable habitat for wildlife.

The Helen C. Fenske Visitor Center is located at 32 Pleasant Plains Rd., Harding Township, NJ, at GPS coordinates 40° 43 ‘09.56″ N, 74° 31’ 32.38″ W. It is open Tuesday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday – Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Check the “Refuge Status Report” on the Home Page for current operating hours.
