Aug 02, 2022 · Google Maps My hypothesis on this is as follows: Throughout 1650s-1950s northern areas were covered in ice, but it started to melt. May be the freezers lost their power. We can see the melting effect in Greenland as well. May be the area we (the mankind) occupy simply re-balances itself and goes back to its normal self, temperature-wise.
