Country of origin. United States. Grunt Records was a vanity label founded in 1971 by Jefferson Airplane and distributed by RCA Records. Initially created to sign local Bay Area acts, the label later was used only for Jefferson Starship and Hot Tuna releases. The label ended use in 1987 after Grace Slick left Starship.

The only Jack Bonus album. Solo album from Peter Kaukonen, brother of Jorma. This album was released on CD in 2007 with bonus tracks.

Manhole (album) Manhole is the first solo album by Grace Slick, released in 1974 by Grunt/RCA Records . Background. The album is credited solely to Slick (she had previously recorded Sunfighter with Paul Kantner and Baron von Tollbooth & the Chrome Nun with Kantner and David Freiberg, both of whom co-produced Manhole ).

Feb 13, 2018 · Three months later, Long John Silver was released and reached number 20, earning a gold record. Acts not part of the Jefferson Airplane to appear on Grunt were woodwind player Jack Bonus in 1972, and an album released in June of 1973 titled Child of Nature by the band Jack Traylor & Steelwind, which featured Craig Chaquico on guitar.
