Matt finds a cabin to shelter himself from a blizzard, only to learn it is occupied by a pair (Claude Akins and Harry Dean Stanton) of bank robbers (Patricia Barry appears).
Marshal Dillon is driven to seek shelter in a cabin among strangers. There he falls victim to two outlaws (Harry Dean Stanton and Claude Akins) who have killed the father of the girl who remains (Patricia Barry).
