Wonderfully carved and painted solid carved green-winged teal pair by Harry Cook (Vallejo, CA). The bottom indicate these to be circa 1987-88. See page 188 of Wildfowl Decoys of California for additional information on the early and important decoy maker who transitioned into a master decorative maker in his later years.
All original canvasback pair by Harry Cook (Vallejo, CA). COOK branded in the bottoms. Each measures approximately 15" in length. See pages 188-192 of Wildfowl Decoys of California by Michael Miller. Paint on the top and right side of the hens head is worn.
