The pair met in 2007 while filming Jumper, a sci-fi movie where they played love interests. They were both 26 at the time, and Bilson had recently broken up with boyfriend andO.C. castmate Adam Brody, whom she dated for three years.
After meeting, sparks flew between Bilson and Christensen. Soon, they got engaged. Though, that isn't to say it was completely smooth sailing. The two called off their engagement in 2010 due to distance (Bilson was based in Los Angeles, while Christensen spent most of his time in Canada.) They reconciled three months later.
