OK, is this a metal movie? After all, even though they do "Hardcore" music in some of the scenes, they dress like a bunch of metal guys. They had the style down, but there wasn't any real metal music in it. I think a metal angle would have been better than using punk music for this movie.

The title Heavy Metal is somewhat misleading. Sure, this terrific soundtrack from the 1981 animated cult favorite features heavy metal and hard rock numbers. But the title refers to National Lampoon's sci-fi/fantasy magazine on which the film is based.
