Henrietta Godolphin, 2nd Duchess of Marlborough (19 July 1681 – 24 October 1733) was the daughter of John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough, general of the army, and Sarah Jennings, Duchess of Marlborough, close friend and business manager of Queen Anne.

Henrietta Churchill was born on 19 July 1681, the second child of John Churchill and his wife, Sarah Jennings J and was baptised at St Martin-in-the-Fields on the 19th. In the family she was known as Harriet probably as a tribute to her older sister who had nor survived infancy.
